Membership & Horse Registration Form

Membership

Get Involved, join the team and volunteer. We always welcome new members. Owning or driving a truck and trailer are not required, as 2 people are needed for each rig in emergencies. Besides the actual rescue, we need help with communications, transportation, billeting of animals, education, registration of large animals, clerical, technical such as website and facebook and fundraising.

Even if you don’t feel comfortable with the actual hauling of livestock in an emergency, think about helping with other areas of HEET.

Horse Registration

Along with emergency evacuations, HEET has set up a registration program to pre-register animals. In the event of a disaster, this helps HEET know what animals are in the area and helps expedite evacuation of all animals.  Please note that registering your animals does not guarantee we will evacuate them. It is always up to the officials in charge of each incident as to whether or not we can enter the affected areas to evacuate any animals. On the other hand, it does give us valuable information about the layout of the land and how many animals are at each location should we be allowed in to do evacuations.

Open the pdf and print the registration form. Fill it out online and send it to the address on the form. Instructions for the form are in the first pdf file. The second file is the actual form to fill out.
